Scope of work:

• The project required the design and installation of new foundations for a large three story detached home.
• The soil conditions consisted of loose sands overlying sandy clay with water approximately 1m below the surface. The plot was surrounded by large trees and had a lake approximately 20m from the rear of the building.
• Due to the soft ground and high-water table traditional foundations were not an option. We therefore proposed our Housedeck system which overcame these issues.
• We also demonstrated to the NHBC that the soils were not desiccated and a voided slab was therefore not required.
